This is such a cool and avant garde cut. Its conical in two directions. When you look into it, its like looking into a mirrored umbrella.
The way this cut captures the light is so difficult to capture in still product photography.
One of the beautiful things about gemstones set in jewellery is the dynamic, movement and way that light reflects and refracts through a stone.
I would set this as a pendant with a very simple bezel setting around the girdle (middle of the stone) hanging from the longest point straight down, and on a nice long chain at 60cm and in yellow or rose gold.
