Created by Kate McCoy, The Fan Cut was inspired by Art Deco design and her love for geometry.

Invited to design a collection for the Intercontinental Danang Sun Peninsula Resort, Vietnam, luxury boutique, she conceptualised the new cut bringing together the cultural significance of the fan in Vietnam - A symbol of prosperity - and her love of Art Deco design. The very word “Intercontinental” means between the continents. The Fan has travelled form East to West the world over and is itself an intercontinental object.
